Michael Brown Jr.(Born December 31,1989) Better recognized by his stage name Brotus, is an American rapper of Haitian and Jamaican decent. He is the youngest of 3 siblings. Born in Miami Fl and raised in Orlando fl. After his mother Jinette Brown and father Michael Brown divorced in 1991 it wasn’t until 1996 when his mother moved the family to Orlando to get away from the dangerous streets of “Little Haiti”. Brotus fell in love with the art of hip hop at the age 8. Inspired by his two older sister Jessica and Jennifer Brown, Brotus would always write a few rhymes here and there but it wasn’t until 2015 he began to take his music seriously and he wrote the track “Body Love”. The song is sampled by the Toronto native Tory Lanez. The song gained him some internet exposure. Months later he released the song “Gee Oh Dee” ft Houston followed by his second single “Brown Noser” and caused the name Brotus to continuously grow on social media. With his fan base growing rapidly Brotus released the song “Birthday Cake” with the remade production of Justin Bieber’s “All That Matters”. Brotus was featured on the front page of CLPnation.com “Artist Of The Month” in February 2016. His highly anticipated Mixtape “Finally Something Good” is rumored to release in the summer of 2016.
