“Bad Things” combines all the baddest things in the bedroom and baddest in the music industry under one roof.
Machine Gun Kelly duets with Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony, and snagged The Futuristic to produce.
The single is a rhythmic combo of MGK’s alternative hip hop and the pop style Cabello is used to. In contrast to the lyrics of “Bad Things” which get steamy, the beat comes of as sweet. The title “Bad Things” and bit of the between-the-sheets chorus, “scars on my body so I can take you wherever” reminds you that this is far from puppy love. As odd as that all sounds together, the song somehow works.
